I choose to believe its not, but only when I work. On my days off, its real, but only if I recognize it.
I had work today so I wasn’t scanning headlines all day, getting a laugh out of the nonsense that fills my X feed. I follow a lot of Congress and cabinet accounts, and, by all means, it is informative. However the Congressional accounts are so boomerific and full of political mouth breathing that its hard to sit there and read all of it.
Now, I know what you’re thinking: “You’re following Congresspeople, no shit its gonna be that.” Yeah, well screw you and the horse you rode in on. I’m a regular, run of the mill dude. Most of you reading this are probably regular, run of the mill dudes and dudettes. I don’t want to read political jargon and posts about “I’m fighting to stop Democrats from cheating every day,” for the 300th time. No shit dude, I hope that’s what you’re doing, even though I know you’re not and its all just political bluster to try and make yourself seem like you care.
It’s like watching Fox News, and to a certain extent, Newsmax. Now, I prefer Newsmax to Fox News, even though both really are full of a decent amount of right wing propaganda. But I digress. When you watch Fox News, you get the most out of touch, fraudulent commercials known to man. Trump Watches! Boner Pills! Invest your entire life savings into this worthless gold coin! It’s a constant grift begging octogenarians to pump another $100 into a fake investment because boomers are too stupid to realize they’re being defrauded.
That’s what it feels like watching Congresspeople post on social media. Its a constant grift of trying to convince boomers that the swamp is being drained, Trump is the second coming of Jesus Christ, and that your $10 is going to preventing your local Arby’s from being invaded by Iran. And trust me, the left is no better either. They’re just as tone deaf and money hungry, if not more than what the right is. At least the right is correct most of the time and has some moral ground to stand on.
Anyway, enough monologuing, lets get into the news:
Iran
Son of a bitch, not this again.
Yeah, more Iran. Hopefully we can stop talking about this come this time next week.
Fun fact, Phil Leotardo looks like the Shah of Iran.
Okay, I’m done. Vice President Vance said there was a lot of traction made in the negotiations today. He said there’s a “mechanism” for keeping Hormuz open, a “mechanism” to ensure a regional ceasefire, and Iran agreeing to allow IAEA inspectors into the country to inspect their nuclear production and ensure they’re in line. https://x.com/RapidResponse47/status/2069114325684392287?s=20
Nice. Good start there VP. I didn’t expect there to be a full compromise on how Hormuz would stay open and who would be in charge of it, but we have a “mechanism,” which is better than “Iran is telling us to piss up a rope on this issue.” That’s one problem addressed in the interim.
The problem here is the ceasefire and the IAEA inspections. You know damn well a ceasefire won’t last more than 48 hours, if we’re lucky. The sand kingdoms live to shoot each other and do it without thinking twice. EVEN IF you got both sides to agree to it, Israel or Iran or Jordan or another one of these dipshit countries is going to lob a missile into a building or launch a mortar into the Red Sea and its going to spark more conflict. Mark my words: A ceasefire is nearly impossible here. If we get a meaningful one, everyone involved deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.
As for the inspections, it’s not going to happen the way it’s being presented. The idea is that IAEA inspectors will be able to freely go into Iran and inspect every square inch of Iran’s nuclear production to ensure they’re only doing it for nuclear power, and definitely not to make a nuclear warhead. No way Jose, Iran would never make a nuke. They told us they wouldn’t and that they’ve only been waging Jihad against the West because they wanted to be on Candid Camera or America’s Funniest Home Videos. I said it before, and I’ll say it again: Iran is going to do everything they can to fool the inspectors, or they’re just going to deny entry to the inspectors and we’ll be back at square one again. Bank on it.
Even Vance seems skeptical on Iran’s word in these negotiations: https://x.com/RapidResponse47/status/2069114921204191312?s=20
We’ll see how much weight that holds.
Adjacent to that, Senator Sheehy from Montana was on Fox News today and made a good point: https://x.com/SenateGOP/status/2069096805044781109?s=20
Israel is going to play games here. They’ve been doing it for a while now, but they’ve been especially bad about it for the last year now, running their mouths and writing checks their asses can’t cash because they have the full backing of the FDIC, I mean the United States, to make sure their checks don’t bounce. I want to make this clear: It is not the job of the United States to defend Isreal in their wars of aggression. October 7th was one thing. I agree with the fact that they needed to hand out some punishment to Palestine for that and they did so. However, everything since then has been nonstop fighting everyone that will look their way because the U.S. will back them through it all.
Enough is enough. Israel can defend itself without using its nuclear capabilities. Israel can fight its own battles and do what it needs to do to DEFEND itself, not embark on missions trying to take over the entire Levant. If you want to do that, tread carefully because it is not the business of the United States to worry about the sand kingdoms squabbling over what illiterate was correct in 600AD.
Here’s to hoping we can have some peace in the Middle East, even if it’s just for a little while
Keir Starmer Resigns
I don’t know how much I want to go into this because I REALLY don’t care enough about European politics to get involved, but I guess I’ll talk about it because it is a major news headline.
Keir Starmer, after nearly two years as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, is set to resign after the Labour Party decided he was no good for the job anymore and essentially mutinied against him.
British politics confuse me. Yeah, Starmer was, for all intents and purposes, a dog water Prime Minister, but why in the world would you, as a party, give up on him so the other side can take control? Like, yeah, Starmer is ass, but do you really want leftists in control? What happens if this guy Andy Burnham ends up being able to figure it out, and now you’re stuck with a liberal government for God knows how long?
I like the cut of this Farage’s jib because he sounds a bit more right of center than the Labour Party, and I’d like to see his Reform UK party gain some traction. From what I’ve seen, he’s anti-immigration, which is one of the biggest issues Brits are facing right now with the mass influx of Indians, Pakistanis, Africans, and Arabs coming in to the country to turn it into a breeding ground of rape and street defecation. Yeah, that rape part is real too:
219 pages of exactly why these people don’t need to be in your country and why they need to be deported back to the shit holes they came from immediately.
Let’s not become the UK. Let’s not have a 219 page rape gang inquiry report from Congress. Let’s not let liberals ruin our country.
That’s all I’ve got for today. Same rules apply as yesterday, tell your friends, family, pets, everyone about the blog, Every view helps and I hope you’re all enjoying it. Shoot me an email or a message on X if you’re got some thoughts. I’m always happy to hear them. Stay beautiful everyone.
