Father’s Day Bonanza

Day two and its already a slow news day. Not that it really matters all that much in the grand scheme of things, especially to me, but I don’t mind having a slow day with nothing much to write. Who knows, maybe I’m just lazy.

Anyway, Happy Father’s Day to all who celebrate. Fathers don’t get nearly enough love or attention for everything they do. Most fathers do so much behind the scenes that its not seen, and they don’t get credit for it. In that vain, most fathers don’t worry too much about the attention or the credit. Men prefer to do things without the fanfare that comes along with doing it, and they’ll likely never ask for any fanfare. That being said, thank your fathers today. Tell them you love them. You should do it every day, but do it today especially.

With that being said, lets get into the fun of the day.

Chicago Juneteenth Shootings

If this was anywhere but Chicago, a big deal would be made of these shootings and it would be major news. But, alas, it’s Chicago and this is a weekly occurrence, just with a black history title attached to it.

Seven deaths. 38 injuries. Man, you’d think that, in a city and state where guns basically aren’t allowed, these things wouldn’t happen, right? Well, let me get on my soap box real quick. I’m a police officer. I worked as a paralegal in the U.S. Army. I’ve been working with criminals for the better part of the last decade. The thing about criminals is a) they’re typically stupid; and b) if they want to commit a crime, they’re going to do it.

So tell me, how is gun control working out? If I, as a criminal, want to hurt, maim, or kill someone by shooting them, why would a law against possessing certain types of ammunition or weapons stop me from doing that? The punishment for murder or attempted murder is on a much higher scale than what I would get for possessing a magazine that holds more than seven rounds. The punishment is higher than what I would get for possessing a Glock with a switch. Its higher than what I would get for having a bump stock, or being a felon in possession of a firearm. None of these laws designed to prevent criminals from shooting people make a difference in whether or not a criminal is going to go out and shoot someone.

Now, I’m no gang expert. I don’t know why gang members shoot each other or beef with each other or yell unintelligible slurs at each other. Most of them are sub-Saharans with an IQ below 80 who can barely put together a sentence or read one full page of a Dr. Seuss book. I’m neither of those things, and I don’t aspire to be one, or aspire to understand why they are the way they are. You can miss me with “socioeconomic factors” too. I grew up very poor. Single parent household with two kids and a parent working two jobs. Was I a little shithead who did some stupid things as a kid? Absolutely. Did I ever get a gun and start shooting, robbing, carjacking, and murdering? Absolutely not. This is in their DNA. This is what they are. They’re violent animals who have an underdeveloped pre-frontal cortex, and they do these things because they can’t help themselves.

And you know the worst part? There are lawyers, and judges, and politicians that enable this behavior for one reason or another. These low IQ monsters stab, hack, slash, shoot, rape, murder, and rob, because every time they do it, they’re told “we’re sorry, we didn’t mean to arrest you because of our white privilege, please be free until you have to come to court.” Then they go back out, do the same shit, and the cycle repeats. Recidivism is high amongst these populations because they’re hardwired to be recidivists. Prison is just another stop for them to be able to continue their actions, just in a controlled environment.

Now, I’m not a subscriber to the Great Replacement Theory. There’s probably some truth in it, don’t get me wrong, but I’m not ready to hang my hat on it just yet. I do believe, however, that hordes of non-white immigrants are being brought into the United States for a reason. And tat reason is obvious: They vote blue. Why do you think the Los Angeles city council just put forward something to allow noncitizens to vote? When you’re a violent immigrant, different rules apply to you. You get free assistance at the hand of hardworking, taxpaying American citizens. You can bring your family here for free and get EVEN MORE assistance. If I’m a violent immigrant, of course I’m moving here, I’m being treated like a king.

Anyway, enough of that diatribe. Let’s move on.

Iran Negotiations

Vice President Vance landed in Switzerland today to begin negotiations with Iran today over Operation Epic Fury. Side note: Its incredible how fast Vance went from being the heir apparent in the MAGA movement and Republican Party, to being persona non grata for the most part. Maybe I’ll go over that this week with some polling and election stuff.

Okay, onward.

It’s only day one, and Rome wasn’t built in a day, so anyone who expected a deal to be hashed out today is an idiot, and you should laugh at them.

The biggest hangups appeared to be President Trump going off on social media again and the end to the war in Lebanon. Apparently Iran has threatened to cut off oil supplies and shut down Hormuz again if Israel didn’t stop having clashes in Lebanon. Maybe it was a Father’s Day miracle, but it looks like there weren’t any clashes today between Israel and Hezbollah, so it’s just some Iranian bluster about something that has been happening and will happen again, without fail, just poorly timed. It’s also kind of rich that this is being brought up because the issues the U.S and Israel seem to be interested in is Iran’s nuclear production and them shutting Hormuz down.

Iran has continued to deny wanting a nuclear weapon, and that they only want to enrich uranium for nuclear power purposes only. Yeah, we all heard that story in the late 90’s from some guy named Kim Jong-Il, and now look at where it got us. Good thing previous administrations did nothing to stop them from denying them the right to seek nuclear power. Morons.

Here’s what I want: Iran to cease nuclear production completely. Now, I know that’s not going to happen, but that’s the only way to completely stop them from the possibility of creating a nuclear weapon. I don’t trust the IAEA or the UN to properly inspect nuclear sites in Iran and report their findings. Either they’ll be too incompetent and bureaucratic too keep Iran in check, or Iran is going to get crafty and find a way to keep them from finding anything that can link them to nuclear weapon production. Or Iran will just tell them to kick rocks and not let them inspect. Then we’re back at square one.

I don’t believe Iran for a second when they say they don’t want to produce a nuclear weapon. They think, with good reason probably, that Israel just wants them dead, and Israel is willing to, eventually, use a nuclear weapon to achieve their goals. And in their minds, the only way to deter Israel from a nuclear strike is to have nukes of their own, just like the rest of the world. Here’s my hangup: Maybe if the sand kingdoms just grew the fuck up and started acting like adults instead of having pissing matches with each other over 1500 year old books, we wouldn’t have these issues. In the grand scheme of things, it’s not my concern, as an American, what they do to each other. If they want to bomb each other to kingdom come and turn each other into glass, be my guest. We don’t need to be involved.

Second, I want control of Hormuz to be run by a committee of Arab states, rather than just Iran, Oman, the UAE, or the United States. Let it be a committee of Arab states that all have an interest in seeing the strait remain open rather than just one country who can dictate the flow through the passage because they can take the economic hit. Will this happen? Probably not, but it’s more likely to happen than Iran completely terminating their nuclear production.

Finally, I’d like some damn adherence to whatever we decide in these negotiations. If we don’t get complete cessation of nuclear production, and some sort of deal where we can keep Hormuz open without one country making the decision, at least get some adherence to the damn deal.

Why do I say this? Just like I mentioned last night: The second the U.S. packs up, turns around, and heads home, everything is going to be status quo antebellum. Iran is going to cause issues with Hormuz, Israel is going to piss in Gaza’s and Lebanon’s and Iran’s cereal again, and we’re going to turn right back around and be back at square one. I don’t trust these fuckers in the slightest, and, hopefully, neither do Trump, Vance, or the rest of the U.S. delegation. These sand kingdoms are fickle. They’re sneaky. They’re snakes in the grass (or sand, for what it’s worth). They’re not like the communists in China where they’re just proud idiots who are adamant about what they want and don’t budge. The Middle East will shake your hand, kiss your baby, then spit in your face the second they get the chance.

We’ll see where this all lands. Who knows.

The Blog

I’m working on trying to put out more written content daily and make this blog look better. I want to split things up between domestic and foreign policy, state politics, federal politics, and election stuff. If I can get one a week for each of them, that would be phenomenal, but that’s a long term goal for now. The short term goal is to make this website look a bit better. If you have any tips, tricks, ideas, or anything you want to throw at me, just shoot me a message on X, or email me (unabashedconservative8@gmail.com). All help and advice is appreciated, even if you tell me to go piss up a rope.

Also, please, don’t feel pressured to donate. Donations are incredible and I would absolutely love them, but this is a pet project of mine that I’m hoping becomes big some day. Unfortunately that means its not tops on my priority list, work and school are. Right now, the most important thing is getting the word out. Sharing this blog and website with your friends, family, acquaintances, etc. Share it on Facebook, X, the whole nine yards. Your support for the blog is WAY more important than money right now.

Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for today. We’ll see what happens tomorrow. Until then, my friends.
