Well, it looks like I got my wish. Absolutely nothing of note happened today and that’s what I was hoping for. Sometimes we can use a nice simple day where we can relax, enjoy the worship of the Lord, and take care of everything else in our lives. And thankfully, I got to do that today.
Just a quick update on my videos: I have a new one coming out tomorrow and it’s a doozie. I wanted to hit the ground running, and I feel like a got a good one to run with. As of right now the plan is to upload every Monday and Wednesday with Mondays being dedicated to bigger news and weekly political updates and with Wednesdays being dedicated to the midterms.
The midterms this year are going to be massive with 30+ Senate and Gubernatorial seats, as well as all 435 House seats up for grabs and Republicans need as many as they can get so they can finish this Trump administration off strong and, hopefully, stay strong going into 2028.
Something politics related that’s got my dander up right now is crappy campaign websites. I’m doing the research for my Wednesday video on the GA senate race and hot damn none of the candidates seem to care that they have zero platform or agenda on their site. Like, what? Are you kidding me? No, GA isn’t my state and I’m not voting in it, but as a conservative political commentator, I’d like to know what you stand for so I can try and properly guide people in the direction of the right candidate. But when there is NOTHING on your site except “pay me money, buy my stuff, and volunteer here,” I’m inclined to tell people not to vote for you!
I’m so glad you got a photo with Trump. I’m so glad you got a photo with J.D. Vance. I’ve seen Trump in photos with Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, and you can bet your sweet ass I’d never vote for them. I need SUBSTANCE. I need A PLATFORM. I need you to tell me what you’re planning on doing as a Senator, and how you plan on accomplishing it. We need more Republicans in Congress, but I need to know if you’re Rand Paul or if you’re Marco Rubio. We can’t have more RINOs running around in Congress because they feel the need to make a name for themselves by going against the GOP.
My job as a commentator is to help influence people who can vote for you to vote for you. If you want to get primaried because you didn’t get enough support? Have at it. If you want to hope you get the Republican nomination and see if that’s enough to get you across the finish line in a battleground state? Be my guest. You’re not the one I’m going to support. Get to work, show people how you’re going to make change, and TELL THEM ABOUT IT ON YOUR DAMN WEBSITE.
