It was a pretty uneventful Saturday in the world of politics.
President Trump is trying to force Europe’s hand with Greenland. He’s really pushing to either buy it or get it through political means. Since he’s started pushing, Europe has decided that they want to get their junk out of their hands and actually do something besides let migrants take over their countries, arrest people for mean words on the internet, and sit with their noses high in the air and act like their farts smell like lollipops and rainbows. A couple European nations including Germany and the U.K. decided to send some negligible amount of troops to Greenland in an attempt to puff their chests and stand up to Trump and look big and bad. They’re also allegedly doing some military drills there as if it matters and as if we’re afraid of it.
Now President Trump has announced that the U.S. would impose 10% tariffs on multiple European countries that aren’t supporting the Greenland sale, unless Denmark sells Greenland to the United States. He also said it’ll go up to 25% on June 1st, 2026 if the deal isn’t done by then. The hilarity is continuing to ensue with the tariffs. I think its incredible that Trump just tells countries that they’re gonna pay more for imports or exports and every country just folds like a cheap suit. Its like the ace up his sleeve that everyone knows he has and they have zero counter to it. Not only does it screw them over by having to pay more, but it adds to the tariff revenue that the United States is getting from it so they can pay the national debt down or give out rebates to American citizens.
Do I think we’re getting Greenland? I don’t know. I’d call it a 65/35 chance we do right now, but its entirely possible Trump is just doing this to get Europe to stop being subsidized by the United States and actually do things on their own. It’s ridiculous that we have to pay for their defense and military when they could easily do the same. Instead they take what we give them and spend the rest of their GDP on socialist welfare programs that make them think they’re elitists who can do no wrong when they’re the ones who couldn’t stop fighting each other in the first half of the 20th century before we stepped in. I really hope this wakes Europe up and makes them take care of themselves. I’m tired of my taxpayer money going to defending Europe and funding their social welfare.
In other news, Governor Fudd and Mayor Frey are under investigation by the federal government for allegedly impeding federal investigations into what’s going on in Minnesota. Much of this is predicated on the nonsense they’ve been spewing about fighting back against ICE and other federal law enforcement officers.
Now, they definitely should be investigated over this, and it has been pretty clear that they’re complicit in not only trying to prevent ICE from doing their job, but also trying to get Minnesota citizens galvanized to physically fight back against them. Fudd said on X that it was the federal government trying to weaponize the justice system against political opponents, while Frey said the federal government is trying to intimidate him for standing up for Minnesota, local law enforcement, and Minnesota residents.
I promise you, they’re not attacking Fudd for being a political opponent. He’s not a political opponent anymore. He dropped out of the Minnesota Gubernatorial race, and before he even did that, his political career was likely over after the welfare fraud came to light and proved he knew about it and did nothing to stop it. If he stayed in the race he was going to get killed in the primaries. As for Mayor Frey, you’re not defending Minnesota, its citizens, or its local law enforcement. You’re defending illegals in your city. You’re defending your voter base. You’re defending fraudsters that defrauded the American taxpayer of its money. You don’t care about American citizens, you care about the power you have as the Mayor of Minneapolis. If you cared about your local law enforcement, you’d let them decide if they want to support the federal government. I can almost guarantee you they want to help federal law enforcement and can do a VERY good job at keeping the local populace at bay while ICE does what they need to do.
Democrats have zero self awareness. They refuse to understand why things are happening the way they are. They’re the reason why people like Renee Good got shot and killed after she tried to run a federal LEO over with her car. They’re galvanizing idiots and making them think they can LARP as freedom fighters, when in reality this isn’t Harry Potter. This isn’t the Lord of the Rings. You’re not a hero. You’re just a regular person who thinks they’re making a difference until they make the wrong move and get hurt. And in Fudd’s and Frey’s cases, you’re the ones enabling them to to these things and get hurt or killed. The person that tells someone to jump off a bridge to their death is just as much as fault as the person who jumped to their death.
I’m hoping for another uneventful day tomorrow. I’m so much closer to getting more outlines done for my videos. I posted another short today clipped from my Epstein video, and shockingly it got a lot of traction. I’m surprised people are still really interested in the Epstein files even though its been a huge nothing burger since they got released. Who knows. Maybe we’ll get more, but I’m not counting my chickens.
